FRAU News

The FRAU website is constantly being updated with news of what has been done so far in 2009, we also have our own domain meaning we can expand our website further. Lots more information is due to be added to the website over the coming weeks so please pop by and take a look, especially at our female event diary giving a little insight into the work FRAU puts into the events it participates in.

Our forum has progressed immensly in past months, and we are proud to now offer a section for Edelweiss Hair styles. This is a 40s display and workshop, that offers events an experienced, professional hairstylist (who also happens to be a re-enactor). We hope this section will become a useful item for women as well as allowing Micky who runs both Edelweiss and the forum section a chance to progress her display salon. Micky is also known to many as the DRK nurse with Sanitaats Abteilung. FRAU is offering our support to this venture and hopes it thrives and grows into a must at events.

FRAU have also successfully completed another War and Peace. The show for our group was a huge success but couldn't have been done without the co-operation of our sister group Das Reich, the Nordland contingent, our field kitchen chefs and all the many re-enactors from a variety of other groups, who helped us keep the momentum going with our soldatenheim.

We have a section on the website stating the events we are attending, so please pop by and see us for a chat. We're looking forward to working with friends old and new during the rest of 2009 oh and hopefully finding time to do some shopping.
